Dashantren Williams grew up in Buffalo, NY. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Buffalo.  He has illustrated five Children’s Books going by the pen name D.S.Tren. Dashantren is also a two year Middle School Art teacher for Renaissance charter school at tapestry where he Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the arts, including drawing, painting, lettering, and art history. Helping students develop aesthetic concepts and appreciations and the ability to make qualitative judgments about art. Provided individual and small-group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of students with varying intellectual and artistic abilities.

Dashantren has experience using wet mediums such as oil paint, acrylic paint, ink, and watercolor as well as the dry mediums such as charcoal, pastels, and pencil. He also has experience with software such as:

His longest running project is his Graphic Novel Series “Kayn Kourageous”. D.S.Tren’s work is colorful and dramatic as is his personality.
